Employees can receive pay card alerts by email or on their mobile phone once a card is loaded.

Pay card alerts can be sent to wireless devices such as a cell phone or to an email account.  All balance and transaction information is updated online in real-time, so employees receive the most current information available.

Your money is protected by the use of a PIN and MasterCard’s Zero Liability Policy.  Additionally, all card balances are guaranteed by the F.D.I.C.

Yes! Yes! Yes!Yes!  But there are some things you should know.

Once you activate your card, you will be given the option to upgrade the card to a VISA/MasterCard logo card.  This enables you to use the card at any Debit Visa/MasterCard authorized merchant.  The possibilites are endless!

Here are a few notes to consider on different types of transactions:

  • Many merchants accept your Debit MasterCard as a form of payment.  You also have access to online Bill Payment through your Cardholder Site.
  • Restaurants automatically add 25% to your bill to cover a tip.  If you do not have the total on your Card to cover the amount, you will be declined.
  • Paying at the pump can be used with some limitations.  You must have at least $76.00 on your Card for the transaction to be authorized.  If the final amount is less than the $76.00 authorized, the difference will not be available for use until the transaction settles, which may be two to three days.  If you have less than $76.00 on your Card and wish to purchase a specific amount, you must complete the transaction at the Cashier.
  • Certain hotels and car rental agencies may obtain as much as a $300.00 to $500.00 preauthorization for your transaction.  Up to a ten day hold may be placed on your Card in the amount of the merchant’s preauthorization request.

    They will “freeze” your card balance and issue you a new card and transfer your balance to your new card.

    Your card will be loaded by the AdvanStaff HR payroll department by direct deposit.

    You may LAO load your funds on your Card at 25,000 Moneygram, 1,300 Ace Cash Express, and 45,000 Western Union locations in the U.S.

    You must notify Global Cash Card immediately.  If you notify them in two days, your maximum loss would be no more than $50.00.  If you do not notify them, you could lose up to $500.00.  If you do not notify us within sixty (60) days, you could lose all the money on your Card.

    Employees must activate their pay card before it can be used to perform financial transactions as an additional layer of security.  Employees can choose the activation method that best meets their needs including contacting Customer Service, using the automated telephone system, or activating their pay card through the secure employee website.

    Customer Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at (866) 395-9200.

    Customer Service Professionals are available to assist employees in both English and Spanish.  Employees may contact Customer Service at any time for routine transactions such as balance inquiries, lost/stolen cards, payroll history, bill payments, and more.
