AdvanStaff's own licensed personnel and strategic partners are always available to field any questions you may have.  Once an employee elects to participate in any supplemental insurance program, we will handle all premium payments via payroll deduction.

MetLife offers Voluntary Life & Disability insurance through incredible group rates brought to you by AdvanStaff. Employees are able to purchase affordable and portable individual Life or Accidental Death and Dismemberment policies portable.

Short term disability (STD) pays a percentage of your salary if you become temporarily disabled, meaning that you are not able to work for a short period of time due to sickness or injury (excluding on-the-job injuries, which are covered by workers compensation insurance).

AdvanStaff HR's voluntary short term disability option is 100% paid by the employee via payroll deduction.  Weekly benefit amounts are purchased in $50 increments (minimum of $100) and a maximum of $1,000, or 60% of Predisability Earnings, whichever is less.
